How To Get Started On Playing Ragnarok Online!

You will need to create an email account, but if you aready have one, you can skip this part.

(First, go to yahoo.com then, create an Email account by clicking on the sign up button)

After you have registered an email address, go to basic ro

Click on the C-panel on the left side.

Once you reached the control panel, go register

You will need Winrar program for this next part. If you don't have winrar, Download it

After you done registering an account, you will need to download the game client. Go to this Link

On the Set up page, you can choose to download from either Filefront or Megaupload

The only difference is that Filefront has 3 parts, and megaupload has 2.

Download all of the files from one of the sources,

Extract from any one of the files you downloaded, and put it on your desktop.

On your desktop, there should be a "Basicro Fullclient.exe"

Double click the file and run it.

After you've finished downloading it, go back to Basic ro Setup

Download the Basicro Patch

after you've finished downloading that, go back on your desktop and click on Basicro Patcher.

Wait till its done patching and you can start playing!

This is a guide just to download the game, If you want to be a pro, you'll need to find guides on the game online.

If you do make it in game, I recommend you stay in the novice dungeon.

Kill only Guzzlers till lvl 30.

All the main NPC's are in Prontera(main city)

Sell your loot at the tool dealers(its a bit south west of where you started.)

You should get 300k zeny, enough to buy your starting equipment.
